Payment Information

Free Consultation:

I provide free initial consultations before scheduling appointments because I want everyone to feel confident that they're working with the best therapist for them. This can be scheduled by emailing, calling, or using the form on the Contact page.

Fees:

The initial assessment visit is $150. Subsequent session rates are $125 for 60 minutes and $100 for 45 minutes.

Payment is due at the time of service. Acceptable forms of payment are exact-amount cash, checks, and credit/debit cards, including FSA cards.

Insurance:

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your insurance company to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.  Please note:  Most insurance companies do not provide “marriage counseling” yet do provide for “family counseling” which allows you to work on couple-related/relationship issues.

I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?

  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?

  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?

  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

At this time, I am still waiting to be contracted with other major insurance companies and will update this site once those contracts are finalized.  At your request, I will provide a form for you to submit to your insurance plan for possible out-of-network reimbursement. You can contact your insurance company to find out what their out-of-network policy is.
